McKay Club Beacon 2007 season is OVAH! They went down hard to the West Roxbury Devils 9-1 at Ronan Park tonight. Good pitching beats good hitting all the time. Devils pitching held the 3rd best hitting team in the YBL to only one scratch run and only 5 hits.
Phil Davies led the way for West Roxbury. Phil smashed Beacon pitching for 3 hits until he was intentionally walked in the 7th to shut him off. He scored 3 runs and had 1 RBI.
Congratulations to West Roxbury on making the Play Offs. They have a lot of work to do - now they face off in the best of 5 game series against the Top Ranked Somerville Alibrandi Club.
