Comcast Covers Southie vs Rockies Classic!

#7 Seed - South Boston Saints have come from behind all year long. They did just that in Game One of the Quarter Final Round vs Revere. After going down 4-0 in the first they staged a heroic come-back and plated 5 runs in the top of the 2nd. They added an insurance run on some inside baseball. Revere tried to pluck away, but it was the defence and pitching of Andrew Flink and a huge save by Jon Tenney that highlighted one of the most exciting games ever covered in Comcast History!
#2 Seed Revere Rockies shot out of the gun with a 4-0 lead. They shot themselves in the foot by making 3 key errors - all producing runs. But, you have to feel bad for the Rockies. they smashed several ground rule doubles and were robbed by 3 huge "professional" style plays.

Picture In A Picture - this is my vantage point for YBL Games on Comcast. The Baseball Head sits and shoots the breeze with my partner Al Segal on game days. We have a lot of laughs and enjoy having the opportunity to do what the "Great Announcers" do on the major networks. Talk about the game we love - Baseball!

Yawkey League - Comcast Production Team. this crew shows up at 2PM on game day and leave the park long after everyone has gone home.

Cameraman, Frank "The Tank" Morello (center) holding court. A real gentleman dedicated to the YBL and these productions. Also works on the Baseball Heads Show.

Camerman, Andy Anderson. Comcast veteran has seen more Yawkey league games than some players.

Arlen Showstack's office on wheels. here is where all the behind the scenes effort and production happens. Comcast has upgraded its coverage and technicality. High Def - here we come!

Arlen and Al D conferring on sideline guests, who will be interviewed during the contest.

Producer, Arlen Shostack at work! Arlen does his best thinking in this position.

Cuz Stu Sklaver and Michelle Desroches in the truck preparing all the Stats and Info for viewers. Better than NESN!

Dave, nice to see the comcast crew getting some love. With all that behind the scenes work, they deserve it.
