Cy Young Award Candidate - Josh Beckett leads the Sox with his 2nd win of the 2007 Play offs. Soxwin 10-3 and take the lead in the ALCS. Beckett was only needed for 6 stanzas. He outfield CC Sabathia, who was flat and hittable all night. Sabathia gave up 7 runs before being replaced.

Sox celebrate their XX drubbing of the Cleveland Indians at Fenway park. The Red Sox take a 1-0 lead in the ALCS. Solid pitching by Josh Beckett and a tough night out for CC Sabathia aided the Sox to smash the Tribe.

Beckett Cruises for 6 with 7 K's While C. C. Gets an F for Starters.

Covering All the Bases:

  • MVP Manny and Star of David are a Perfect 10.

  • RBI Machine Mike Lowell Drives in 3; 2 for Kielty and 'Tek, Too.

  • Everybody Hits: Lineup Was Loaded from Coco to Lugo.

  • Youk Keeps the Heat On: Kevin Comes In Three Times

Manny goes way back and makes a spectacular over the shoulder catch. His bat was also important to the Red Sox Game 1 victory last night against Cleveland. Manny is playing like a man possessed against his old team. Let's hope he keeps his focus and helps the Sox to another American League Championship.
